North American Spine Society Puts out Call for Research Proposals

Holding an MD from the UCLA School of Medicine, board-certified spine surgeon Dr. Paul W. McDonough treats patients at Orthopedic Associates of Abilene in Abilene, Texas. Engaged in his field, Dr. Paul McDonough maintains membership in the North American Spine Society.

The North American Spine Society (NASS) is accepting applications for research funding. Those who wish to be considered must send proposal letters to the NASS via email. Deadlines are dependent upon the type of funding requested.

For Research Grants, Young Investigator Grants, and Nontraditional Nonsurgical Treatment Grants, investigators should submit their proposals no later than February 13, 2017. The deadline for Research Fellowships and Clinical Traveling Fellowships is May 15, 2017.

For research proposals, applicants should submit their requests to Karen James (kjames@spine.org), placing the name of the principal investigator in the subject line. Fellowship applicants can submit their requests to the same address. Applications must be submitted in either Microsoft Word or PDF format.
